EdenBrooke is Nigeria's first resort-style wellness community for adults 60 and above — a place where you are still needed, still safe, and still deeply belong.
Our Mission
EdenBrooke exists because too many Nigerians over 60 are quietly pushed to the edges of their own lives — treated as problems to be managed rather than people with wisdom, purpose, and joy to offer.
We're building a membership community where older adults are reintegrated into society as active, purposeful contributors. Not a facility. Not a charity. A home.
"Your parents gave you their best years. EdenBrooke gives them their best years back."
What we've done so far
Everything we know about what older adults in Ibadan actually want, we learned by sitting with them and asking. Here is what we've run this year.
March 2026
Our first gathering. Fifteen older adults in a living room, with a doctor, a physiotherapist and a handful of volunteers. There was tea, there were stories, we ran health checks, and nobody was in a hurry to go home. At the end, one of the guests handed us money towards the next one. We hadn't asked.
June 2026
A free medical outreach. Around a hundred older adults came through for blood pressure and blood sugar checks, dental checks, consultations and physiotherapy, and went home with the medication they needed. Almost fifty volunteers gave their time, unpaid. Some of the people who came had been at Tea & Tales in March.

Who's behind this
I started EdenBrooke after noticing how many older Nigerians are managing on their own while their children live in another city or another country. Provided for, called often, and still getting through most days alone.
I'm a physiologist by training, which is a long way from being able to fix that by myself. So the approach has been to ask rather than assume: sit with older adults, find out what they actually want, and build that. Almost everything on this page came out of those conversations.

What We Offer
Six pillars of care and community, designed around what actually matters to our members.
Physiotherapy, health screenings, fitness programming, and access to trained medical professionals — all within a warm, non-clinical setting.
Monthly gatherings, cultural programming, shared meals, and friendship — because loneliness is a health crisis too.
Coming soonWe're building partnerships with trusted caregiver training centres, so that when a member needs support at home, they get someone properly trained and vetted.
Intergenerational mentorship and knowledge-transfer programmes that keep our members purposeful and engaged with the world.
From hospital runs to grocery shopping — we handle the logistics so our members can focus on living well.
For families abroad — real-time updates, coordination, and peace of mind that your parent is truly seen and cared for.
EdenBrooke is built around you — your health, your relationships, your legacy, and your joy. This is a place where you still matter.
Distance is hard. Not knowing is harder. EdenBrooke keeps your parent connected, cared for, and genuinely thriving — and keeps you in the loop.
